We hired DJPTK (Paul) for our Island Savings South Region year-end celebration on Friday night, and he was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Paul was prompt, professional, and an exceptional communicator. He truly focuses on customer service — he is super responsive when you reach out. Returning calls right away, listens to what you need, and works with you to create the perfect experience for your event.
His setup was seamless, and his business skills and attention to detail really stood out. Paul was also wonderfully courteous with all our team members and the staff at Jack’s Restaurant. He naturally mingled with our team as they arrived. He has a warm, funny, and genuine personality that made everyone feel comfortable.
The music was hands-down the best we’ve ever had at one of our events. The dance floor was full all night long! He even joined in on our prize giveaways by playing The Price Is Right theme song as team members came up to collect their prizes — such a fun and thoughtful touch.
Paul is one of the best DJs we have ever worked with. Professional, personable, customer service oriented and incredibly talented. Thank you, Paul, for helping make our night as special and unforgettable as it was!
An awesome and super fun addition to our community Halloween event. Song choices were perfect for our event and engaged not only event goers but staff as well. Would absolutely recommend Paul for any event.

We were fortunate to have DJ PTK as our wedding DJ at the Union Club in Victoria on October 11, 2025, and he exceeded every possible expectation. From the first email to the final song, Paul was professional, kind, and completely dedicated to making our day perfect. He always returned calls and emails promptly, which made planning simple and stress free.
He was originally booked only for our dinner reception, but on short notice he offered to take care of our cocktail hour as well. That extra hour of music matched our theme beautifully and created an incredible atmosphere for our guests. The grand entrance that followed was epic and set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Throughout the night Paul was remarkably accommodating. When we approached him mid reception with last minute shoutouts, song requests, and unplanned dances, he made every change instantly and with genuine enthusiasm. He worked seamlessly with the venue and other vendors to keep everything on schedule and completely relaxed for us.
The setup, lighting, and sound quality were exceptional. Paul kept the dance floor full from start to finish, engaging with our guests and making everyone feel included. People of all ages were dancing and having fun, and the feedback afterward was incredible.
Paul went far beyond what we expected from a DJ. He created the atmosphere, flow, and energy that made our reception unforgettable. A complete professional and a genuinely kind person who cared deeply about making our vision a reality.
We hired DJ PTK for our daughter’s 4th birthday celebration, and we couldn’t have been happier. He went above and beyond to make the event seamless and fun, even suggesting black lights to elevate the experience, and personally handled the pick-up and return which was a huge help. His communication was prompt and professional, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. The kids had an absolute blast and the adults were so impressed and had THE BEST time. I can’t count how many people said they want him for their next party. Highly recommend and we will definitely be using him for all of our future events!
We had DJPTK for our wedding last weekend at Highland Pacific Golf. From day 1 of planning he was a wealth of information on not just DJ services but all things wedding related. He recommended and connected us with many of our other vendors, met with us multiple times at the venue during the planning process and was always easy to connect with. He not only provided our DJ services, but was also our MC of the evening. His execution as MC was fun and entertaining and he kept our timeline running smooth throughout the whole evening. In addition to his great Playlists that catered to all age demographics, he added a lot of personalized audio touches for my soccer obsessed husband. His visual set up was incredible with smoke/lighting and the icing on the cake was the sparklers he provided on our champagne bottles for our grand entrance. We highly recommend his services if you want professional, quality DJ-MC services for your wedding or event.
Paul was the DJ and MC at my son Adrian Sims and Leah Williams' wedding on 20th September 2025 At Highland Pacific. Paul worked wonders, was very easy to work with, and was a perfect MC. Paul was very accommodating; he went above and beyond to please all ages of music. Excellent choice of music for all ages. Paul was presented with a huge list of songs, 80s, 90s, and Motown, mostly for the Sims family and friends (140), mostly who were from the UK, Barrie, Ontario, and England, up-to-date music, nothing seemed to faze or disrupt Paul. Just non-stop dancing and fun all night. Would highly recommend Paul for DJ and MC; he did a fantastic job. Until next time, thank you so much, Paul. EXCELLENT! ABSOULTELY 5 STARS! My daughter's 18th birthday celebration was yesterday August 17, 2025 in Duncan. We learned about DJ Paul from a friend and I contacted him once and he immediately got back to me. I explained everything from the party time, date, expected volume of guests and he is very professional. I am new to this and was our first time to party with a DJ and Paul was just so accommodating. He's a busy guy and always fully booked but last but even tho' there had been a mishap on our part, coz we submitted our list of songs super late but he still managed to put it all up for us to have a successful event. He was on time, very accommodating and everybody really had fun from the grown ups, teenagers and kids! He didn't just play music but he made it interactive! I will definitely refer Paul if any of my friends and colleagues is needing a DJ. He made the party super alive and the quality of music is just superb! Paul, you scared me at first because you are a big guy but... YOU REALLY ROCK AND YOU REALLY ARE THE MAN!!!!! And super thank you for being a part of my daughter's 18th birthday celebration!
DJ PTK was our DJ and MC for our wedding at Bodega Ridge, and he absolutely nailed it. He was smooth, confident and worked in some hilarious lines on the mic. His music selection was spot on and our guests couldn't stay off the dance floor. From start to finish he was a true professional, and always attentive to the vibe of the day. Thank you DJ PTK!
Mike and I couldnt recommend Dj PTK enough! He was personable, kind, mellow and played the perfect soundtrack for our wedding night at the Tigh Na Mara in Parksville. Not only did he Dj, but also MC'd the entire night! It took a LOT of pressure off of us, so we could enjoy moments and memories.
His set up and arrival was on time. He had wonderful, professional gear. The entire ceremony and reception had zero hiccups or issues.
To top it off I thought id mention some key pointers we noticed greatly:
- He always returned my many calls and email enquiries in a timely fashion.
- He worked amazingly and already knew the venue and other vendors like or commissioner etc; to ensure the schedule was on time, chemistry was good and zero stress for our big day.
- he engaged with guests and family, played requested songs by us that held special moments and introduced the wedding party one at a time. He truly aimed to make everyone to feel like their attendance mattered
- he shouted out and thanked our vendors for us!
- he helped me plan some special surprises foe my husband
- he set up the damn timeline for us even.
Overall, our guests were raving about him. We thought he was kind and hilarious
I would 100% hire DJ PTK again and again!!!!
